01What do I have to do to book a bike?

For rentals of three days or more, complete the booking form on our website. You will first receive an automatic confirmation, followed by an official confirmation containing the bike price and everything included.

For one- or two-day rentals, visit the shop on the day you want to ride—or the day before—to ask about availability.

02What do I have to bring?

Please bring your passport. We make a copy and return it immediately. A €50 cash deposit is required and returned after the bike has been checked.

You will also need a credit card. We accept all major cards except American Express.

03When does my rental start and end?

Your rental starts at 09:00 on the first booking date and ends at 17:00 on the final day. Bike Point does not offer 24-hour rental periods.

04Can I collect my bike the evening before?

Collection may be possible between 17:00 and 17:30 if the previous renter has returned the bike. Call the shop first to confirm.

05Do I have to bring my own pedals?

No. Shimano SPD, SPD-SL and Look Kéo pedals are available for €1 per day, up to a maximum charge of €5. You may also bring your own.

06What is included with the bike?

Rental bikes include a small pump, spare inner tube, tyre levers, a multitool and two bottle cages on most models.

07Do I have to bring my own helmet?

No. Helmets are available to rent for a one-time fee of €5.

08Do I need to bring energy gels or bars?

Bike Point sells nutrition for before, during and after riding, including vegan-friendly and gluten-free options.

09Should I bring shoes and cycling clothes?

Yes, bring your preferred shoes and clothing. If needed, our shops also sell cycling shoes, apparel, kit and accessories.

10Can I send my bike measurements?

Yes. Add saddle height, saddle-to-handlebar distance and handlebar height to the booking form so the team can prepare your setup.

11Can you deliver the bike to my hotel?

Delivery is available in the south of Tenerife, starting from €10 depending on location. Select delivery on the booking form or contact the team.

12What will the weather be like at the top?

Mountain weather changes quickly. In winter bring a jacket and consider warmers; in summer a windbreaker may be enough. Ask the shop team and check a current mountain forecast before setting off.

13Where can I find routes for my ride?

Use our free GPS library to search by starting area, surface, distance and climbing. Download the GPX or TCX file and sync it with your bike computer.
